BAGHDAD / JD / .. Said a new international report on global oil reserves that Iraq ranked 5 solution within the 10 states with the highest stock, came first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to the report, seen by Agency / JD /: 4 Arab countries of existing Samn, namely Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and Iraq.

Countries across the Middle East and North Africa face a diverging economic outlook, with oil exporters experiencing a pickup in growth in 2011 on the back of higher oil prices and oil importers seeing a dramatic downturn as the region faces heightened regional and global uncertainty, the IMF says in its latest assessment.

The IMF’s Regional Economic Outlook for the Middle East and Central Asia, released October 26, projects growth in the Middle East and North Africa region at 3.9 percent in 2011, down from 4.4 percent in 2010.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Friday, to build a new Libya prevail justice and respect, after their exit from the “tyrant Gaddafi.”

ASTANA: The US will press major oil-producing nations to ensure they are pumping enough oil to meet demand, regardless of price, while also encouraging a recovery of oil output from Libya and Iraq, a senior energy department official said.

“We don’t assess the supply and demand equation as a function of price per se,” US Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel Poneman said.

“We look at satisfying consumer demand.”

“The focus still must be on making sure that the existing producers produce adequate quantities to meet current demand.”

Post-Gaddafi Libya could begin pumping oil in the next few months, as rebels secured oil infrastructure around Tripoli and edged closer to taking complete control of the country. However, oil markets are shifting their attention to concerns that the US might undertake further fiscal stimulus.

Transitional National Council (TNC) forces surged into the Libyan capital on the weekend, taking much of the city. By Tuesday evening they had overrun Muammar Gaddafi’s, Bab Al-Aziziya compound, although the leader himself is yet to be found.

Baghdad, August 23 / August (Rn) – urged the Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama Najafi Tuesday, the government to recognize the Transitional Council after Libya took control of the armed opposition on most parts of the capital, Tripoli, after a popular armed uprising launched last February.

This claim comes after he recognized the Arab countries like Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Morocco, United Arab Emirates Libyan Transitional National Assembly, and the emergence of signs of the end of the regime of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, who is still unaccounted for.

Crude prices hovering at $100 a barrel have allowed Saudi Arabia to experience robust revenues over recent months. (AFP Phtoo)

Saudi Arabia’s foreign assets are forecast to reach a new peak of 1.9 trillion riyals ($506.6 billion) at the end of 2011 from 1,806 billion riyals in April due to strong oil prices and higher crude output, the National Commercial Bank (NCB) said.

Crude prices hovering at $100 a barrel have allowed Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest oil exporter, to experience robust revenues over recent months.

The kingdom had also boosted its crude supply to one of its highest levels of 9.4 million barrels a day to plug the gap in Libya’s output disrupted by civil unrest.

NEW YORK (AP): [Kuwait] Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad al-Sabah on the need for Iraq to complete the implementation of all UN Security Council resolutions relevant, stressing that this is the only way out of Iraq, believes the umbrella of Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

May 18 2011The Iraqi authorities are bracing for a possible influx of returnees from neighbouring countries affected by violent protests, especially Syria, and say hundreds have already returned from Libya.

Postponement of a meeting of Arab foreign ministers to mid-May the current

Arab diplomatic source revealed on Tuesday that the Arab foreign ministers decided to postpone the special meeting of the University Council of Foreign Ministers to be held on the fifth of May current, and expected to identify all the 13 or 15 of this month as a new target for the meeting.
