Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council (SIIC), Ammar al-Hakeem, stressed the importance of dialogue to solve political crisis.
This came during Hakeem’s meeting on Thursday, May 23, with US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires in Baghdad, Doc Solomon.
A statement issued by SIIC Media Bureau, said that in the meeting, Solomon praised Hakeem’s initiative and his call for politicians to a meeting that would assure the citizens and be a Honor Pact against terrorism and sectarianism.
A call to State Consultative Council to send the Banking Act to the parliament for approval.

A member of the parliamentary Finance Committee, Najiba Najib called the (Shora Council) to speed sending the new banking law in order to pass it in the House of Representatives.
MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the new law of the banks and the CBI supports the independence of the bank and devotes separate administration for the capital of all government and private banks, noting that the law will also allow the banks to direct investment and to engage in other commercial activities after that was forbidden. Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of Iraqiya slate, Iyad Allawi, said that the situation in Iraq is going through dangerous period that requires implementing the Erbil Agreement.
In his speech announcing the slate of United Iraqiya National Alliance, Allawi said that the campaigns of intimidation and exclusion are continuing in Iraq, since many Iraqi political forces (he did not name) are subjected to insemination and exclusion and been denied to express their opinion in many forums.
Allawi added that it is clear evidence that who runs Iraq is running it in an insufficient way.

BAGHDAD / NINA / An economist at the Ministry of Finance, Hilal al-Taan said that the period of transferring money from Iraq to the account of foreign companies not take more than three days.

BAGHDAD / NINA / Presidency of the republic announced the ratification of the Federal budget of the Republic of Iraq for 2013.
A statement by the Office of the Vice President of the Republic, Khodair al al-Khuzaie said that al-Khuzaie approved the federal budget for the Republic of Iraq for the year 2013, according to the powers granted to him under Article 75 / 2 of the Constitution.” (more…)

Baghdad/ NINA /–A Kuwaiti official source announced that Iraq and Kuwait agreed to create a wide buffer zone of 500 meters on both sides of the joint border, and to move Iraqi farmers to new homes.
The source told NINA : ” Kuwait pledged under the agreement to build fifty houses inside Iraq for the farmers living near the border.

Baghdad (NINA) – The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq, Martin Kobler, welcomed resuming Iraqi Airways on Wednesday, Feb. 27, its flights from Baghdad to Kuwait after stoppage of more than 22 years.
In a statement on Thursday, Feb. 28, Kobler considered the move as a big achievement for Iraq and Kuwait that opens a new page in their bilateral relations. (more…)

The MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance, Muhsin al-Sadoun declared postponement the vote on the federal budget for 2013.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the vote on the federal budget is not in the agenda for today’s session of parliament because of some amendments to some of its items.

Kuwaiti Ambassador in Iraq to the insured to visit a close large economic delegation to Baghdad to strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries.
