Kurds go to disable the draft oil and gas at the head of the Iraqi Parliament

Baghdad / Dohuk, September 6 / September (Rn) – MP for the Kurdistan Alliance bloc in the Iraqi Council of Representatives Bayazid Hassan on Tuesday that the Presidency of the Council of Representatives can disable the draft law of oil and gas through the objection and not included in the Council’s agenda.

This trend comes one day after the rejection of the presidency of the Kurdistan region to a draft law ratified by the government and sent to the House of Representatives for approval, said the province, said the draft was different from the prior agreement between the political blocs and passed the government without due process of law.

Bayazid said after a visit by the President of the House of Representatives Osama Najafi, “The oil and gas law in 2011 which was approved by the Iraqi government can be disabled in the House of Representatives during the Presidency.”
