Opened in Baghdad the day of the Economic Council of Iraq the U.S., which was recently agreed between Baghdad and Washington.
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki discussed with the U.S. delegation to activate the work of American companies in the field of construction, reconstruction and investment in the framework of the Council, in line with the strategic framework agreement signed between the two countries.
He reiterated the U.S. delegation, which included deputy national security adviser Denis McDonough and Assistant Secretary of State Thomas Nyder and National Security Advisor to the Vice President Anthony Blinken, Washington’s support for Baghdad in the efforts to maintain Iraq’s stability, prosperity and development of its economy and infrastructure.
