Baghdad (AIN) –Independent MP, Qais al-Shather, expected the parliament to vote on all the law drafts during the current term.
He stated to AIN “We hope the laws not to be postponed to the next parliament rotation.”
“We still have time and ability to vote on the law drafts that are currently presented to the parliament,” he added.
The parliament resumed its sessions on last Tuesday.

Baghdad (AIN) -The Parliament will hold its regular session on next Saturday to read and vote on a number of law drafts including the Federal Court and the federal budget of 2013.
Parliamentary source told AIN on Thursday “The agenda of next session involves the vote on Federal Court law, and 2013 federal budget draft as well as the first reading for the Ministry of Health’s proposal.” (more…)

Baghdad (AIN) –The Parliament session of Wednesday has started to review the report of the Financial Committee over the 2012 budget law draft.
Parliamentary source reported to AIN Wednesday “The parliament session is chaired by Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi and was attended by 221 MPs.”
The source added “The agenda of the Wednesday session will include continuing discussions over the budget as the first and second reading of several other law drafts.”
