The Ministry of Trade of Iraq, Sunday, that the ration card to be abolished by 2014 and focus among poor families only, while revealed a new mechanism to improve the ration card items during the current period.

Said Under Secretary of Commerce Soibp Zangana, during a press conference held by the building, the Ministry today, attended by Alsumaria News, “There is no country in the world to distribute food among all segments of society and this is a drain on the state budget,” adding that “the end of 2014 we will cancel the ration card and focus on the poorer segments of society according to a new mechanism. “

Erbil distributes food ration compensation this week

Erbil, March 26 (AKnews)- Media and relation secretary of Erbil governorate said this week the food ration compensation will be issued to the residents in the province.

Some 15,000 Iraqi Dinars (IQD)- almost $12 will be issued per capita. This follows an order by the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki early 2011 to compensate the Iraqi citizens for the shortcomings and the low quality of the items distributed to the public under the food ration program.

Ministry of Commerce announced its distribution for the amounts of compensatory ration earlier approved by cabinet earlier included the amount of grant / 15 / thousand dinars per person.

The ministry said in a statement today: The program includes a grant amount for families and individuals registered on the ration cards, and not to give families and individuals invisible because of travel or with high incomes, according to the inventory prepared by the Department of Planning and follow-up in the ministry, which was provided by the conservatives.

Iraqi trade to develop a mechanism to provide a new ration card items

Baghdad, January 27 (Rn) – The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce said Thursday on the status of a new mechanism to address the crisis of the distribution of the ration card items especially with regard to the subject to facilitate the contracting process between them and the importing companies.

Walid al-sweet Kurdistan News Agency (Rn) announced today that “Iraqi Ministry of Trade will work to facilitate the process of contracting with companies, dealers and suppliers of foodstuffs in order to accelerate the distribution of the ration card items during specific time periods.”
