A few days ago and I’ve Dr. Maytham Laibi visit appearance of Dr. Saleh, Vice Chairman of the Central Bank of Iraq, in the upper police station where sitting in a damp dark cell with a group of persons accused of crimes of theft and murder, forgery and other common crimes.

The appearance of Dr. Saleh of the finest minds of Iraq’s economic and has a long history of achievements that should be proud of any Iraqi keen on Iraq’s progress and development, has managed with a cadre Central Bank, headed by Dr. Shabibi (the accused is the other) to reduce the rates of increase in prices from an average annual rate of 50% before 2003 to only 5% currently, as this was one of the most important goals they have set for the bank in reducing inflation and maintaining the stability of the national currency. CBI: Switch currency and delete zeros will take two years

Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the appearance of Mohammed Saleh, said that the process of switching the currency and delete zeros will not be completed this year and completion will take approximately two years.

Korea University Maliki granted an honorary doctorate degree in political science

BAGHDAD (Iba) .. Awarded the Korea University in Seoul by Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki an honorary doctorate degree in political science.

Maliki said in a speech during the ceremony held by the university, said he is a great honor for me to get this certificate and this results in every respect and appreciation.

He added that Iraq is known and the great history that Eetmd to more than six thousand years, but he got a lot of setbacks, not diminished the cultural and scientific effort, but even the role of rights because it subjected to abuse and oppression by dictatorial regimes.

Korean won exchange rate to hover at 1,093 to US dollar

The average exchange rate of the Korean won is expected to hover at 1,093 won to the U.S. dollar ($0.0009) this year, a report by a state-run think tank showed Wednesday.

The Korea Development Institute (KDI) report said that the local currency should gain in value vis-a-vis the greenback on the strength of such developments as steady economic growth and favorable trade balance.

Cabinet decides to approve the increase in the amount of cash advance for public works contracts

The Cabinet decided at its second regular Tuesday to approve increasing the amount of cash advance for public works contracts provided for the public sector companies concluded with all ministries and departments not associated with the Ministry to the proportion (20%) of the value of those contracts.

He said government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said in a statement issued by his office that the approval was based on the General Budget Law for 2010 / Article (11).
