Baghdad (news) .. joined by U.S. Vice President Biden to the meeting held by Deputy U.S. National Security Adviser Tony Blinken with Iraq’s national security adviser, Faleh al-Fayad.

A spokesman for the National Security Council Tommy Vietor said in a statement received Agency (news) copy of it: that Biden expressed his deep commitment of the United States and Permanent toward the United States partnership with Iraq under the Strategic Framework Agreement signed between them. Baghdad (news) .. Search Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki with a delegation from the U.S. Senate led by Senator Joseph Lieberman of bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States.

A source in the Prime Minister (of the Agency news) on Monday: that al-Maliki met, on Thursday evening, the delegation of the U.S. Senate led by Senator Lieberman and discussed political developments in Iraq and the region, and bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States after the U.S. withdrawal from the country.

The source added: that the two sides stressed the need to implement the strategic framework agreement between Iraq and the United States, pointing out: that the U.S. delegation to the Prime Minister stressed the willingness of the U.S. Astmraraha with the support Iraq. (more…)

On June 24, Secretary Clinton met with Iraqi Council of Representatives Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi to discuss the latest political developments in Iraq and the future of the U.S.-Iraqi partnership.

In addition, they discussed a number of bilateral issues of mutual interest and the Secretary offered our continued support as Iraq strengthens its democratic institutions and develops its economy to provide greater opportunity to its people.

Baghdad, June 23 (Rn) – A Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama Nujaifi, Thursday, to open an investigation on the fate of about 17.5 billion U.S. dollars Okhtaft in reconstruction projects in Iraq, as reiterated that the fate of U.S. forces to remain subject to the agreement of the political blocs.

Nujaifi said after the his meeting with Vice President Joseph Biden in Washington, said in a statement received by the Kurdish news agency (Rn), a copy of it that “We demand an official investigation and an official on the fate of Iraqi assets, estimated at more than (17.5) billion dollars were spent from the Development Fund for Iraq in 2003-2004 and Badhama.” The Najafi, “The money spent did not have any documents or receipts to justify or prove the type of the point of exchange,” calling Matt Spetalnick WASHINGTON “to provide assistance in this regard.”

The U.S. embassy in Baghdad to accept applications in Fulbright International Science and Technology in 2012, according to a statement the embassy.

The statement said that “This program is funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs ECA of the U.S. Department of State, to support the objectives of the Strategic Framework Agreement signed between the United States and Iraq.”

State Department and the Iraqi government Hosted the first meeting within the Strategic Framework Agreement

Baghdad, 23 March (Rn) – The U.S. Embassy in Iraq on Wednesday, held for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Iraqi government’s first meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee for cooperation of cultural, educational and scientific cooperation between the two countries, within the Strategic Framework Agreement.

A spokesman for the United States Embassy in Baghdad Aaron Snape told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the State Department held its first meeting within the strategic framework agreement with the Iraqi government represented by the Minister of Education Mohammed Tamim,” adding that “the meeting was attended by the heads and representatives of groups of the Commission’s work on the American side “.
