Basra (news) .. Asked the Office of International Trade in Basra, the Council of Ministers approved the establishment of a free zone for the exchanges of commerce and industry on the Iraqi border for the purpose of advancement of the Iraqi economy.

The adviser said the Office of International Trade Tawfiq inhibitor in a statement to the Agency (news) on Monday: we call the Cabinet approval to establish a free zone international exchanges, commercial and industrial land of Iraq and be the focus of a focal production companies in the world to shop their goods out of Iraq because of a major economic turnaround of the country and will be an alternative to oil revenues yearly.

The Ministry of Telecommunications, Friday, closely linking Iraq to the world Bkablwat freedom of communication extends under the waters of Persian Gulf, stressing that Iraq could be by virtue of its geographical location as a corridor of an international link of the Middle West Bkablwat freely, as he emphasized the governor of Basra that the local government did not notice until now an evolution in the telecommunications industry.

LONDON, (Reuters) – Brent oil prices rose above $101 a barrel on Friday after Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak refused to step down, stoking fears that the rising tensions could disrupt oil flows or spread to major producers in the region.

Brent futures jumped by more than $1 on Friday on rising tensions but later pared gains as Egypt’s powerful army moved to defuse tensions by lifting 30-year-old emergency laws.

ICE Brent crude futures were up by 62 cents at $101.49 a barrel and U.S. crude futures were up 11 cents at $86.84 a barrel.
