Maliki’s coalition deny nomination the names of the new defense and interior portfolios

Baghdad, February 18 (Rn) – denied the State of Law coalition led by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Saturday, introducing new candidates to fill the posts of defense and interior, he did not reach an agreement between the political forces yet to name candidates for the two bags Alamnatin.

Revealed the Kurdistan Alliance, the determination of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to resolve file security ministries by the end of 2011.

Agreement Between the United States of America and the Republic of Iraq On the Withdrawal of United States Forces from Iraq and the Organization of Their Activities during Their Temporary Presence in Iraq

Preamble

The United States of America and the Republic of Iraq, referred to hereafter as “the Parties´´:

Recognizing the importance of: strengthening their joint security, contributing to world peace and stability, combating terrorism in Iraq, and cooperating in the security and defense spheres, thereby deterring aggression and threats against the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of Iraq and against its democratic, federal, and constitutional system;

Affirming that such cooperation is based on full respect for the sovereignty of each of them in accordance with the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter;

Out of a desire to reach a common understanding that strengthens cooperation between them;

Without prejudice to Iraqi sovereignty over its territory, waters, and airspace; and

Pursuant to joint undertakings as two sovereign, independent, and coequal countries;

Have agreed to the following:

A statement by the Supreme Audit Agency has received all of Iraq [where] a copy of “The meeting focused on the audit results of Iraqi funds that were received and spent by the Coalition Provisional Authority and U.S. Department of Defense during the period of April 9, 2003] until [June 28, 2004].”

The statement stressed that “the audit of projects implemented by the U.S. side of America grant funds were in advanced stages, without being detected until the results of the moment.”

US gives away billons in assets in Iraq

The United States Depart of Defense has found a nifty way of cutting costs in planning for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. Rather than ship home millions of pieces of equipment from Americans bases abroad, the military is simply giving them away.

Nearly two-and-a-half million pieces of equipment, estimated at a cost of $250 million, have so far been given to the Iraqi government by the US military in the last year alone, reports The Huffington Post.

The leader of the coalition of state law and the MP / National Alliance / Salman al-Moussawi, said the coalition’s candidates are ready for the Interior, and will announce their candidates, after deduction of the defense.

Moussawi said in a statement (the Agency news) on Tuesday: that the candidates of the National Alliance for the Interior Ministry ready, and pending resolution of a candidate and the Department of Defense, in order to bring a basket and one, indicating that in the event was to provide a candidate internal to the House of Representatives will be Iraqi him, in the absence of a candidate of defense.

Iraq demands U.S. to speed up the processing planes “F16″

The state of law emphasizes that al-Maliki has not received any list of candidates to defend

Confirmed a coalition of state law, led by Nuri al-Maliki on Thursday that its leader, Prime Minister has not received any list of names of candidates for the defense by the Iraqi List, pointing at the same time that al-Maliki will deal with the list in the event of arrival in accordance with agreed criteria.

The MP said the state law Mohammed Sehud’s (Twilight News) that “the Iraqi List, talk about the provision of nine candidates for the post of defense minister to the media, but the truth so far have not reached these names are formally the commander of the armed forces.”

The Iraqi List, has made the middle of this month, nine candidates for the Department of Defense assigned to them according to the political agreement, led by former Interior Minister Jawad al.

Deputy for the law: a lot of files will be decided after the holiday, including my security ministries and Council policies
The MP said the coalition of state law, Abdul Salam al-Maliki said “a lot of files will be decided after the Eid al-Fitr holiday, including my security ministries, which is currently run by proxy and the National Council for Strategic policies.

Maliki said in a statement to all of Iraq [where] that “the Tripartite Commission, which emerged from the meetings of leaders of political blocs in the headquarters of President Jalal Talabani is now working on the implementation of the agreements that have been agreed upon.”

He added that “the Iraqi List, has provided a number of the candidates for the post of defense minister to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, which in turn will be examined Echtaar one of these names. Revealing the candidate Jawad al-comes on top of these names.”

U.S. military creates an air security system developed for Iraq

BAGHDAD (Alsumaria News) revealed the U.S. military, for his quest to create a security system that Iraq’s sophisticated air to repulse any external threats facing this country, as pointed to the need for the approval of the Iraqi government to achieve this system, since its creation and training needs for a long time.

A military spokesman in Iraq Jeffrey Buchanan in an interview for “Alsumaria News,” that his forces “working with Iraqi partners to develop a security system air integrated,” noting that this system “requires the radar to identify and communications and ground-based missile-equipped and combat aircraft to defeat these external threats “.

Najafi calls on Maliki to speed up the resolution of a security ministries

The head of the House of Representatives Osama Najafi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to speed up the resolution of a security ministries at the same time denying that the latter had submitted a report to the House of Representatives on the readiness of security forces.

He said during a news conference today: “that Maliki made simple information about the readiness of security forces during his speech yesterday Limbering government, did not reach to the House any report which shows the readiness of security forces to take over security after the withdrawal of U.S. troops.” He continued: “There is currently no request from the Americans, their desire to confirm the survival of their forces in Iraq.”
