Baghdad (AIN) –The Planning Minister, Ali al-Shikri, stated that Iraq will be one of the Donor Countries where it donates to Palestine, Somalia and Comoros.

He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) “Iraq is not receiving ant donations from the International Organizations anymore,” noting that “Most of the executed projects by the International Organizations in Iraq are shared with Iraq and properly Iraq will be one of the Donor Countries in the next few years.” (more…)

Based on its rich natural resources and huge market potential, Iraq’s economic prospects seem promising.

Its population, currently 32 million, is forecasted to increase by over 3 percent annually, which will create a larger number of future consumers. Its gross national income (GNI) per capita, currently $2,640, is estimated to grow by around 10 percent per year on average. Spending power is expected to grow rapidly. (more…)

Iraqi economy in the world’s fastest-growing

Issued by the Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in the United States report shows that Iraq will Achieve the highest growth rate for the years 2012-2013 in the world, data showed Wall Street bank (Wall Street bank’s data) that Iraq will achieve the highest growth rate in GDP (GDP) for 2012, which amounts to 10.5%, and China ranked second at 7.7% and the top ten economies in the world will not exceed its estimated growth rate of 5.5% for the same year.
