Ministry of Commerce revealed that “2016 will see the completion of the procedures for Iraq’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO)”.

However it would appear the protests in Iraq is still a major concern for the United Nations as well as politicians in Iraq. Some in the middle east are waging if this could be Iraq’s Arab Spring.
